Whispering Lion :
With his 1998 release of "Tribute to the Spirit", Oakland, California
Reggae artist Whispering Lion (Michael Zeitsoff) found an international
audience. Two previous releases, "Blame" and "Love Posse", were very
well-received on radio and in clubs in New York and in the San Francisco
Bay Area. His unique and fresh style combines conscious lyrics with
Reggae dance riddims. "Up 2 Us", the opening tune on "Tribute to the
Spirit", is also available in remix version on the "RAW 2000"
compilation CD on Ruff Stuff Records.
