Techniques :
The Techniques, one of the most soulful rocksteady groups ever, were formed in 1962 by Winston Riley. After signing up with Duke Reid in 1965, the hits poured out of the Treasure Isle studios. 'You Don't Care', 'Love Is A Gamble", 'Travelling Man' and 'Queen Majesty' were some of their finest sides. Slim Smith, Pat Kelly and Dave Barker all fronted the group with great success. When Winston Riley formed his Techniques label at the end of the 60s the group finally broke up.
