Super Cat :
William Maragh, nowadays better known as the deejay Supercat, began his career in his early teens. His artist name first attracted the attention of the record buyers in 1982 when Winston "Techniques" Riley released his debut single "Mr. Walker". However, it lasted three years before Supercat made a serious impact with a tune called "Boops", which became a permanent word in the Jamaican vocabulary. Resident in Brooklyn from 1988, his recordings demonstrate his often fierce militant stance.
