Sister Carol :
Cultural deejay, Sister Carol, a teacher with a degree in Education, moved to New York in 1973. She became involved in the NY dancehall scene. She began performing and recorded her first two singles: "Liberation For Africa" and "Black Cinderella". For the Jah Life imprint she recorded the excellent "Black Cinderella" in 1984. HeartBeat issued "Call Me Sister Carol" in 1994, followed by the fine "Lyrically Potent" in 1996.
