Shinehead :
Edmund Carl Aitken aka Shinehead was born in England, moved to Jamaica in his early years, but was raised primarly in New York where his family settled down in the mid-seventies. In the eighties he started working with the sound systems Down Beat International and African Love where he made his reputation as a very talented deejay, singer and rapper. Shinehead has become one of the most influential U.S. reggae artists, often mixing Jamaican dancehall with modern R&B and Hip-Hop.
