Shaggy :
Shaggy, real name Orville Richard Burrell, moved from Jamaica to New York and joined the Marines at the age of 19 and served actively in the Gulf War for 5 months. He started working for an array of producers and topped the charts with 'Mampie' on the Tan-Yah label. International charts success came in 1993 with the immensely popular 'Oh Carolina'. 'Boombastic' was his second international chart success. Shaggy remains one of the most talented New York based reggae artists, blessed with a fashionable vocal delivery.
