Rita Marley :
In the early seventies Bob's wife, Rita Marley (born Rita Anderson), joined Judy Mowatt and Marcia Griffiths to form the I-Threes. Before that, she had worked with the Studio One trio The Soulettes and had enjoyed several solo hits in Jamaica. After Bob Marley's death she continued to score single successes, but was largely retired in the mid-eighties, concentrating instead on the musical careers of her children (The Melody Makers).
