Ranking Ann :
Ranking Ann emerged in the early eighties and first attracted attention while performing with the Black Rock Sound System in and around London, England. She was soon categorized as the music's feminist deejay and due to her growing popularity Mad Professor produced her highly acclaimed debut album "A Slice Of English Toast". She appeared on British Television, did live tours in the UK, Europe and the USA as part of the Ariwa Posse Tour and recorded two more albums for Mad Professor's "Ariwa" label. From the late-eighties on she only recorded sporadically.
