Prince Jazzbo :
Prince Jazzbo, real name Linval Carter, started his recording career voicing tracks for Coxsone Dodd in the early 70s. He made the usual round of producers and cut a string of heavyweight DJ tracks for Bunny Lee and Lee Perry. He also set up his own Ujama label, using a donkey as a symbol. Frankie Paul was one of the most succesful artists who recorded for him. In the 90s Coxsone Dodd finally collected Prince Jazzbo's early 70s sides on the noteworthy 'Choice of Version'.
