Prince Far I :
Michael James Williams, better known as the deejay Prince Far I, started his recording career in the late sixties, when he cut "The Great Wooga Booga" for Bunny "Striker" Lee. However, his first hits came when he teamed up with producer Joe Gibbs. This success enabled him to finance the setting-up of his own "Cry Tuff" label. Gruff chants delivered over tough riddims became Prince Far I's trademark. The deejay's life and career came to an end when he was brutally murdered in 1983.
