Pliers :
Pliers, born 1965, Kingston, Jamaica, is best known for his recordings alongside gruff voiced deejay Chaka Demus. As a solo artist he began recording for Black Scorpio, heavily influenced by Pinchers and his brother, Spanner Banner. Sessions for other producers followed, he even recorded for Coxsone Dodd, but he achieved international stardom when he started working with Chaka Demus in 1991.
