Paragons :
The Paragons, comprising John Holt, Howard Bennett and Tyrone Evans, was one of the classic vocal groups of the 60s, scoring hits for Coxsone Dodd and Duke Reid. In 1996 they teamed up with Duke Reid and recorded classic rocksteady cuts such as 'Happy Go Lucky Girl', 'The Tide Is High", 'Wear You To The Ball' and 'On The Beach'. In 1970 the group split up, thus enabling John Holt to pursue a highly successful solo career.
