Junior Byles :
Way back in the seventies Junior Byles (once frontman of the Versatiles) started working with Lee Perry to launch his solo career. His musical relationship with Perry turned out to be very successful and led to a string of high quality recordings including "(Festival) Da Da", the winning song of the Jamaican Song Festival competition 1973. After the Perry era and his stay in hospital for quite some time Byles recorded some excellent tunes for producers like Joe Gibbs and Blacka Morwell.
