Joe Gibbs :
Joel A. Gibson, better known as Joe Gibbs, was born in Montego Bay in 1945. In the sixties he became involved in the music industry, which proved successful. In the early '70s he teamed up with sound engineer Errol Thompson, with whom he would enjoy a longlasting prolific and successful relationship as The Mighty Two, producing more than well over one hundred #1 hit records. Joe Gibbs also put out his own instrumental cuts, credited to Joe Gibbs & The Professionals.
