Ernest Ranglin :
After joining The Val Bennett Band at the tender age of 15, Ernest Ranglin developed into a proficient jazz guitarist in the early fifties. His beautiful and versatile guitar playing ensured that he was in demand as a session musician. From the mid-sixties and all through the seventies he worked as a studio musician and arranger for Jamaica's top producers like Duke Reid, Coxsone Dodd, Lee Perry and Clancy Eccles. On the other hand he continued to record his own music throughout the years.
