Eastern Standard Time is Washington DC's premier Ska outfit. The band remains true to the roots of Ska music by playing a style much like the original recipe for Ska used in the sixties. However, they seamlessly incorporate jazz, swing, bop and dub into their music, which - besides their soulful singing - adds just that special flavor to their bubbling Island beats.
