Don Carlos :
At this moment Don Carlos is a member of the 'new' Black Uhuru, the group he founded with Garth Dennis and Ducky Simpson in 1978. After splitting up Don Carlos joined the ranks of producer Bunny Lee, with whom he cut some heavyweight slices of roots music. The first half of the 80s was a prolific period for the 'wailing' Don Carlos, releasing fine albums on a variety of labels. During the 80s he kept on recording in his typical chanting style, and finally returned to the re-formed Black Uhuru.
