Dark Fire Cloud :
Dark Fire Cloud (previously known as Ras Cloud) is a recognised name on the club and college circuit of the Southern United States. Cloud is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and his charismatic, hybrid Zydeco/Reggae has been a crowd-pleaser from Florida to San Diego - Nashville to British Columbia and more recently - Switzerland.
Cloud was born into the Delta Blues & Zydeco and started performing publicly at age 7. Extensive touring in Jamaica, where he did studio work with the cream of the Reggae fraternity, imbued him with a solid foundation in solid Roots Reggae. Add in those uptempo squeezebox Zydeco rhythms (via echo harmonica) plus washboard percussions and the sound is uniquely Dark Fire Cloud.
