Congos :
The Congos, comprising Cedric Myton, Roy Johnson and Watty Burnett surfaced in the second half of the 70s. The group started recording at the Black Ark studios for producer Lee Perry, who added Watty Burnett to the group to handle deeper chords. The result was the brilliant set "Heart Of The Congos', the ultimate roots album of the 70s. However, the album was poorly marketed and the group broke up. In the 90s Cedric Myton reformed the group and released a new album on the RAS imprint.
