Carlton Pride & Zion Reggae Music consists of Carlton Pride (guitar/lead vocals), John Moore (drums/background vocals), Ezekiel Benenate (bass), Papa Ska (keyboards) and on percussion Albert Alonso & Ras Drew Harper. The band's hometown is San Marcos, Texas, US and in 1997 they played at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, sharing stage with Carlton 's father, the C&W music legend Charly Pride, for the family special. The music produced by Carlton Pride & Zion Reggae Music can be described as melodic tunes, which combine the flavors of reggae, world beat and dancehall.
