Under the vision of original producer and founder Bobby Konders, Massive B. since 1991 has been a leading independent label. Massive B. puts out a variety of music with a concentration on reggae, hip-hop, and dancehall. Over the years Konders has produced and remixed recordings from such diverse artists as Shabba Ranks, Aswad, Buju Banton, Supercat, Ziggy Marley, Herb Alpert, and Caron Wheeler (Soul II Soul). Massive B. is a ghetto based label with roots in Brooklyn, New York and Kingston, JA. Being based in both communities, it was a natural breeding ground for reggae hip-hop hits including the Bounty Killer/ Jeru the Damaja combination, "Suicide or Murder". Rap sensation Blazhay Blazhay got their start on Massive B. as well under the name "Hostile Takeover".

The Massive B. catalog consists of such established artists like Half Pint, Ini Kamoze, Nicodemus, Beenie Man, and Shabba Ranks. However, Massive B. also takes pride as providing a forum and place for young, previously unsigned, talent to get their first break. Many successful New York based reggae artists such as Red Fox , Mad Lion, and Grammy winner Shaggy have been voicing for Massive B. since early in their career and continue to do so. Over the past few years Massive B. has produced such hits as Bounty Killer's "Mr. Tear and Boar", Shabba Rank's "One Man", Shinehead's "Promises" and has helped buss the careers of artists like Lexxus with his hit "Stress". Massive B. recordings have often utilized real wicked remakes of renown reggae/dancehall riddims like for example "Stalag" and "Cuss Cuss", but they have also built original riddims like the Siren, African Rock, and the Yard Bounce, which fuses down-south bounce sound with reggae and is voiced by such namebrand artists like Bounty Killer, Elephant Man, Burro Banton and Lexxus. The latest riddim to hit the streets is the infectious Dun Dem riddim featuring artists like Bounty Killer (who relicks his "Fire With Fire", previously delivered over Massive B's Yard Bounce riddim), Burro Banton, Anthony B, Lexxus and newcomers Danny English and Ricky Rudie a.k.a. Bling Dawg.
Massive B. continues to put out "Music For the People".

Selector Bobby Konders and M.C. Jabba came together over 8 years ago to form the Massive B Sound System. Working alongside each other on the radio, Bobby Konders and Jabba have become reggae cultural icons. They present music and dancehall culture to the listening public in a unique and fun way (It is a rare show when more then 15 minutes goes by without one of them cracking a joke or laughing at one on-air), endearing themselves to fans.
Furthermore Bobby Konders is involved in releasing Mix Tapes, the notorious "Bobby Konders and Jabba" Mix Tapes. Because Bobby is involved in so many aspects of the business, his connections run deep, especially with artists and producers. These mix tapes are full up of pre-releases, specials, and exclusive remixes. "Bobby Konders & Jabba" mix-tapes stand out from the others and recently they release the 12th volume in the series.
But, although they constantly joke, they take the sound business seriously. Based in NYC you can catch them weekly. Massive B. also played many dates abroad (in places like the Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, and all over the US) where they have played alongside Stone Love, Funkmaster Flex, and Chinese Laundry just to name a few.
And, like any good sound system, Massive B. knows how to play for a crowd. Bobby Konders has been DJ-ing for over 15 years, and in the past 8 years has really made a mark on the reggae scene. Although they specialize in reggae, they are a mobile discotheque who also play hip-hop and R&B when needed.

Over the years Massive B has released a hugh amount of 45's and some fine albums. As you might expect these albums contain excellent dancehall sides delivered over some tough riddims.
